Yes I'm quoting myself here. I'm wondering whether Klasse AIO or the ceramic spray wax is best to use first. The AIO is a chemical cleaner and acrylic sealant (the only effective 2 in 1 in history), it will cut through traditional waxes down the the clearcoat without much trouble. Ceramic waxes are tough, maybe tough enough to withstand the AIO, but then would AIO be useless on top as a wax and better left as a wash product? I don't know the answer to that, but damnit I'm gonna find out soon!

with is what I do for my winter cars.

Usually I'll do maintenance washes in the spring/summer with some spray wax too. Then in the fall I do one major wash/wax:

    Day 1
    Spay with power washer
    Wash wheels
Foam canon with Purple Power Vehicle and Boat (PPVB)
    Rinse
    Repeat foam PPVB
    Rinse
    Hand wash with PPVB
    Rinse
    Dry
    Clay bar
    Refoam/wash with Chem Guys Honeydew
Coat with Jescar Power Lock using a hand foam pad and hand buff off
    Let sit overnight

    Day 2
    Lightly refoam/wash with honeydew
    Dry
Coat over Power Lock with Collinite 845 with a DA
    Buff by hand

The car keeps beading all winter and looks great

I'm thinking that Klasse AIO would remove some of the Ceramic spay on product. Especially applied by a machine, due to the mechanical action of the machine. Probably best suited as a topper.

Never tried Klasse, so it's a guess.

I get 6 months plus from Jescar Power Lock. Then I tried Jescar ultra lock plus, and was disappointed. Only got around 2 months of durability from it.

Has anybody tried products from HydroSilex? I came across them a while ago and was considering giving it a try specifically the ceramic coating.

Is it a spray Ceramic Coating? If so it's junk.

Truck lives outside in Iowa weather and winters.

    Wax Spring and Fall.
Pay & Spray wash to remove the winter road schmutz when the temperature cracks above 20*F

In the Spring, crawl under the truck for a thorough flush of the undercarriage to remove the winter collection.

Klasse AIO is probably the single best auto detailing product I've ever used, the stuff is what dreams are made of haha. I'm not sure exactly how potent the cleaner component is since I have always used it after a powerful wash and clay bar step. I'm thinking it will be best as a basecoat but I'll try one panel in the opposite order, or maybe just on my girlfriend's car haha! I have toyed with the idea of only using the AIO, as a wax 2x per year and as a wash product, but YouTube has sold me on trying the turtle Wax ceramic stuff.

Word to the wise, the Klasse Sealant Glaze is just too tough to work with, especially when the fancy new ceramic sprays are so so easy to use. Again, I see the value in using products that are easy and enjoyable to use, cause you'll actually use them, and that's the most important thing. That, and never using Nu Finish, but that's a big duh these days.

    I'm curious.

What is the issue with Nu Finish?

I've used it for years without any ill effects. I have a '02 Chevy Trailblazer that has lived its life outside and has only had Nu Finish. Its paint is still in very good condition, a few minor bumps and dings from 20 years in parking lots. No fade, no chalk, remains shiny and deep looking paint.

It's probably the way it was advertised on commercials. It was kind of over hyped. Then again, most commercials were over hyped back then.

    Fine example.....Flex Rubber goo.....

Me thinks Moon is just shouting in a canyon. Just an empty internet fact.

My only complaint about Nu Finish is using it on a white truck. The haze is really hard to see during the wipe off phase.

    True.

Now, a lot commercials are less over hyped but geared towards entertaining, while pushing a product.

I think the Flex Rubber goo commercials are funny.

This goes true for any white wax, sealants. A lot of manufacturer are tinting to a off white so wipe off is easier.

Some of the kids may not remember the numerous Cigarette ads.

These ads have been replaced by drug ads. Anything from weight loss, ED, hair loss, to AIDS and beyond. Then a bit worse are all the friggin' lawyer and class action ads.

Hmmmmm......this gives me an idea. I wonder if a bit of food coloring would help with seeing the haze???

I think it was of our President's wife that started the anti commercials, Anti- drugs, cigarette, same sex practice, and so on.

I think they should banned all commercials. I usually fall asleep through them.

If the wax is water based it may work. If it heavy petroleum distillates, or solvents it may not mixed well.

I thought about this a long time ago but never tried it.

I know it has silicone in the product. Doubtful if water base....... I'll probably contact Energizer with the question. They have the Nu Finish products.

I just applied Avalon king on my Tacoma. Did a quick paint correction and then Applied ceramic coating over all plastics, glass, expel, and paint. It’s curing in the garage right now. I will let you know how I like it.
