You need to night ride more. When you say best and budget expand on those 2 like what are you wanting to spend, what size, and what kind of performance are you looking at getting

 

I guess the real question is has anyone used Harbor or Tractor Supply lights? I could order Rigid or Cali but just don’t want to spend that money on something I’m not going to use but a couple times a year. I more likely will not add anything else unless it is a light on a roof or prinsu rack for camp lighting. I’m not a light guy. Just don’t want to see empty space. See space on bumper.

 

I have never used Harbor Freight LEDs but I have two 6 inch that I am about to install on my Samurai

 

How much they run you if you don’t mind me asking? I have seen pretty good reviews on them.

Just my .02 if your not buying Rigid, Baja designs or a brand of that caliber, Might as well buy cheap Chinese on eBay or Amazon.

 

I've got an 8" chinesium light on the heep that's pretty meh at best. I will say if you actually get out and ride places like GA traverse and stuff at night man it makes a difference having good light and meh light but you already have decent ditch lights. Cali is just a rebranded chinese light but decent quality. I'd look at heretic, DD, cali, Apex Overland. Maybe even get with memario on here he usually hooks guys up on pricing for stuff. The cheap Amazon light bars on the jeep all have moisture in them and look like crap. I'd get something a little more expensive but not Rigid or BD expensive.

 

Nothing wrong with a little water in your lights. Keeps them cool. I just drilled a hole in my tail light so it would drain though. Weird fishbowl effect when reversing plus it’s starting to grow some sort of algae in there.

 

Get some goldfish and throw them in there

 

Really want to put some Sea Monkeys in there, but it’ll depend on what they have at Wal Mart I suppose.

 

probably want to get some bed stiffeners or make some.

Re there still some Walmart's that have fish?

 

Nah I think they got rid of them. At least around here. They were pretty neglected as well as I remember so it’s probably for the best. Not too welcoming to see a bunch of dead fish floating around.

And so it begins…filling the bed with stuff. Stuff stuff stuff. My wife hates that I keep stuff. I’ve had those long drawer slides for years and I finally got to use them haha
