    Consider his regular version then…. Brighter that stock by a landslide (better radius view too) and should work just fine in your application, since essentially same as stock.
    I’d recommend limiteds but you want amber strobe. Limiteds are two circuits, yellow turn and white DRL. Some are upgrading to V5 for the “effects” options.

    I think thats going to be part of my plan. If I cant get anywhere with the v5, I may have to go for a v4 set and just do the resistors like I had to do with the front and rear signals.

    Resistors in his turns eliminate that problem in most cases.

    the resistors diodes are not for any other issue other than to prevent voltage from the strobe controller from backfeeding into the trucks electrical systems.


    EDIT: I meant diodes I think. Whatever it is thats a 1 way path for electricity.

    Ah, yes I was going to ask if Diodes were a better choice… resistors fix that pesky flasher problem of hyperflash.

    I would assume and also hope someone makes an instructional video as well. The V5 are far more complicated than the V2 or the limited switchbacks- fortunately for me, I can wait for a video on youtube.

    You are a genius! The wire on the driver's side puddle pod was pinched between the mirror and the the door. I rerouted it a tiny bit and replaced the fuse and now my dome lights and puddle pods are working. Thanks man!

    @MESO , can you explain how to install with the 2 pin connector if we don't care about dimming? I'm confused on what to splice into the two black wires coming off the little connectors

    got mine today and installed them. found 3 dead LEDs on the driver side turn... :annoyed:

    sent in a warranty ticket, hope there are still some spares in stock!

    Can confirm, on auto it's basically the same as your "DRL", full bright, during the daytime except at night it should dim when headlights come on. Getting itchy to be one of the Meso bros, lol.

    Still not sure if I should power in from headlamps(I think?) to have the option from the stalk to turn all DRLs off, Tacospike is sure tempting me with a good time...

    There is nothing different between them for removal and replacement.
    Once installed, the choice of illumination is in the video:
    Yellow to Yellow = OEM;
    Yellow to Green = Standard Sequential
    Yellow to Blue = Reverse Sequential
    Red to IGN/or MESO pigtail = DRL HIGH
    White
    to PANEL circuit = DRL LOW ...each door has a PANEL circuit feed to illuminate the window switch.

    This would be the first job of this type for this ole dangus.

    For wiring to the headlights, do you just wire an extension of the same gauge wire to the existing clamp/wires for extra length, and run to the full/dim wire on the V5s to the headlights through the firewall pathway? I do have some wago connectors somewhere, unless that's not a good way to connect. I better make sure I connect to/find the right wires...

    I guess the point of having the off-functionality is being able to have the truck running without any lights on/have "ghost" mode, which could be a good idea when I'm in the middle of nowhere camping and might not want to be too visible while in my truck for whatever reason.

    If you hold off on the DRL side of the wiring you would be able to purchase a plug n play solution. Run the wires from the doors to the cab, though...

    That would be optimal, and my gut feeling was to wait for the plug and play. I am guessing it would connect somewhere on the driver's side?
