You're going to be so happy with your new truck ;)
Needle bearing, shocks, also did my stabilizer bar links. Truck is smoother than the day it was born.
Not a bad time to do water pump, belt (tensioners) and hoses

I'm gonna start a thread as the big day gets closer asking what parts I should get replaced when they have my truck in a million pieces; My air intake box is being held together with electrical tape on one side so I think I'll get that replaced, and a plastic clip on the fuse box became brittle and broke so I'm gonna probably replace that too...

However, the stealership quoted me $600 for a damn intake box so I'm probably gonna buy one secondhand from a totaled truck and have them install it!

Here in eastern Canada it is quite common to see new frames stacked up waiting for changeouts. Received a notice from Toyota to bring my 2011 in for frame inspection but the truck was rustchecked every fall so no issue. Your frame will be replaced, no question.

Also, I live in Southeast Pennsylvania for those who do not know; Pennsylvania requires yearly safety inspections for ALL vehicles not registered as antique and the annual safety inspection is obnoxiously strict and nitpicky (Example: My aftermarket foglights that operate independently of the high-beams). Emissions testing is required for all gasoline powered vehicles 1975 and newer under a certain GVW in 25 out of 67 counties (I live in Bucks County, one of the most populous counties in PA, so emissions testing is required)...

What's amazing here (or perhaps not so amazing), is that my truck just passed safety inspection in August!

There are a lot of frames stacked up outside the local dealer that's doing my replacement!

    You're counting chickens too early.

    Lots of hopeful assumptions................

Keep your feet in reality. Toyota could just as easily say you missed the warranty period.

Lot of jealous people in this thread. You’re def getting a frame, 12 year coverage means you’re in + legit hole in frame. Congrats

Just for the record, here's the trouble spot that my mechanic discovered just over a month ago when I brought my truck in for PA inspection (picture quoted above); The reason my mechanic did not find the hole that qualifies me for a new frame is because it wasn't visible (yet). I also suspect that the reason the hole the dealer found on September 24th was not found on August 16th is because my truck passed inspection at my mechanic and they were only looking at the one spot on the left frame rail that I pointed out...

Funny you should mention that; Five months later my truck has a hole on the right frame rail next to the center cab mount, right by the cat, and the frame is getting replaced...

I for some reason though I took these pictures before the 2" lift was installed, but the one Cooper Discover is on the spare wheel and the main tires seem to be new, which would indicate the lift was installed by this time; I got new tires a little earlier than I needed because (A) the 2" lift made the previous set of Coopers (225/70R15, I think), and (B) Cooper was offering a $70 rebate on new tires that was only good through the end of April...

These will all ultimately get merged into my MegaThread once my frame is replaced, but as of September 25th, 2021 I have three frame threads going!
