    cant' recommend the springy charger cables enough for applications like this. I have 3 in my tacoma, and keep 3 more in my wife's car. Springy isn't the right word.... these: https://www.samsclub.com/p/ventev-chargesync-apple-helix-cable/prod25100200?xid=plp_product_2

    2nd gen owner... but definitely Weathertech floor mats front and back. I had them waiting for when my truck got delivered and installed them right away. That was 2012. The OEM mats are still in plastic somewhere in some closet.

    Is that pretty good setup compared to like the 2.5 fox coilovers? What is the price of your setup if you don’t mind me asking

    I opted to match the factory tint with ceramic and 70% ceramic on the windshield. I was extremely skeptical of ceramic tint, it was unlike me but I decided to try it and it really does work. To the point where when you reach into the back seat you can feel the sun coming through like a barrier in the cab LOL.

    My lady has 15 percent on her car and it is just too dark for me, so uncomfortable switch lanes at night. 5 percent would not be possible for me.

    The 8112 /8110 have built in bumpstops and limit straps so no external ones are needed , plus when I was looking at them side by side the 8112's "looked stronger" even vs the Fox 3.0's,
    You can also adjust the front spring heights without taking the shocks off the truck, just jack up that corner so the trucks weight is off of it and adjust away.
    The springs on the 8112 are also cold formed springs. Gives them a little more strength compared to hot rolled springs and they can be a smaller diameter so it gives you a little more travel before the coils contact each other.

    Fox 2.5/3.0 vs Bilistein ride comparison;

    Fox = Progressive (Soft to hard during a suspension event)
    Bilistein = Digressive (Hard to soft during an event) ( But seems to be a digressive on the roads, but Progressive during extreme events when the third piston comes into play)

    Fox had more Nose Dive during braking and body roll during turns.
    But on road and small "events" (less than 1" in height) the Foxes made it so they were not even noticeable but you felt it a little bit with the 8112's.
    Going over a set of multiple railroad tracks at 30mph where on my Ram 1500 you are bottoming out and your spine ends up wrapped around your ears...
    Billstein shocks , except for the tire noise, it was smoother than going over a bridge with expansion gaps on it,
    I'd be able to drink coffee in a white shirt while going over those tracks with 8112's,
    No chance of doing that with even the Fox 3.0's.
    Jumping those same tracks at 50mph so all wheels of the truck left the ground, with the 8112's if your eyes were closed you would not have known you did a jump (and ignored the stomach in the throat feeling)... the fox 3.0's "wallowed" on landing and hit the bumpstops hard.... adjusted them up and did it again and they didn't wallow and hit the bumpstop, but your coffee would have been all over the cab of the truck.
    BTW we also had a set of Kings in our comparison, they only seemed better when we were going less than 10mph and handled like the stock OR shocks on street (except for bigger bumps and potholes) but did worse on the railroad track test for the control when landing. Kings I would recommend for a rock crawler only.

    So in summary;
    If you are driving like a normal person on the street or driving slow off-road you would probably prefer the fox systems. Little bit smoother.
    If you corner fast on the street, don't slow down for speed bumps or curbs, drive over 20mph off-road on washboards or really rough trails at speed, the 8112's are hands down a better system but you will slightly notice the small stuff (like expansion gaps on bridges) .

    People will say "but the fox 3.0 fronts are adjustable" ahhh but whom here will get out of their trucks and will adjust them before they hit the railroad tracks or take a hard turn... plus you need external bump stops and limit straps and have to take them off the truck to adjust spring height.

    I paid about $1100 Cdn (about $850US) per shock for the 81xx's.

    Wow that’s a lot of info! So it seems the bilsteins are considerably cheaper than fox but way better? I daily my Tacoma, had fox 2.5 on the front and 2.0 on my lifted Silverado, I didn’t know anything about bilsteins 8xxx just the 5 that everyone mentions I think they are. What about ivd suspensions?

    Yeah
    Not at all, also note the windshield is 50% lol. The only issue is that I live way out in the country where there's very little ambient light & no street lights so it can make reversing a pain but no I don't regret it at all, I love my tint!

    Think 15-20 is too dark on the windshield I like the privacy aspect not to mention the cooler interior. I’ve always wondered how much brand of tint really matters. My xpel was like $600 for all 4 windows/windshield/rear
