    Suppose it's better than nothing, may help prevent wheel slip inside the tire but I don't think it's going to do much to keep the tire on the rim with a side load.

    Good marketing though.

    Since I have actually put them to the test off road I would disagree with your keyboard speculation. They have performed very well on trails in the PNW and in the Moab area. I have routinely had them down to 10 psi when on the trail and 8 psi in the snow. How many times did I lose a bead? Zero times.

    I mean I can say the same about my SCS wheels and they don't have bead grip.

    No issues doesn't necessarily mean it's doing anything but I can't argue and say they're not either.
