You should add some gussets to the bottom edge of the new crossmember and frame it'll help with the frame twist and add some more rigidity. Grant it not ideal on the bottom but it'll help. looks like you have some rood too do so.

Not a weight weenie at all just don't get the huge disparity in the weight of my old smittybuilt yours and the published weight. I figured the disparity between mine and the published was the box, remotes, fairlead and all that mess.

 

I’m just giving you a hard time. I will show you another pic of it on the scale with the whole kit if you want, but that’s it man, 52lbs. Only thing that doesn’t include is the fairlead/hook

I'm ditching the hook and getting that rope from Bleepinjeep that has built in soft shackle deal, expensive but one less heavy ass flying object if something breaks and speed hooking up just increased that much more.

Here was my solution to the no fender liner issue. Cowl induction basically a muscle truck now buddy of mine did this and thought it was a great idea and best of all.... No snorkel.

My chopped DIY SRI has actually treated me really well over the years, I’m not against your cowl intake but I think I’ll leave mine be for now, I do dig that though

 

You've got about 2-2.5" of lift up front? I see you've got the 885 plus top hat spacers.

 

Yup, about 2.5” but I think closer to 2.25

Hve been wanting a budget rear set up and I'll probably do the 4xinnovations shackle flip kit with some bilstein 5125s

 

You’re gonna want something longer than 5125’s with a shackle flip. Even the b110 is a lot longer! I did a budget shock relocation kit for only like $500. Bamf towers and a $350 pair of 14” short body 7100’s! 5125 won’t utilize a shackle flip travel they are way too short!

 

I thought you only get about 11" of travel of a shackle flip anyways? I figured you'd need more to get a good 14" of travel. I'm still in the prelim stage of picking out a rear setup so I'm open to all input.

 

Shackle flips will give you the most droop travel, even with my hammer hangers I’m using pretty much all of my 14” short body 7100’s travel, I have some good flexed out pics showing that, good stuff man

 

He’s got a shock relocation as well. When I was running my bamf relocation and shackle flip I was pulling a hair over 12” out of 12” shocks
