It’s not a belt issue and it didn’t make the noise until now. I can hear it in the snout with a stethoscope. Checked the pulley bolt torque and they are all still to spec. Mine sounds exactly like the one in the video posted earlier in this thread. It’s not the unloaded rotor sound that has been there since day 1

I’ll contact magnuson this week and see what they say. It shouldn’t be a big deal to fix. The entire snout appears that it can be removed without removing the SC. The hub bearing shouldn’t be a problem with all the types of pullers and such I have.

Update: the noise has returned to normal bearing and rotor noise after a long drive. I will be keeping my ear open for it again. I’ll probably shoot magnuson’s tech dept. a call this week just to get it on record and see if they suggest doing anything now or waiting for it to come back.

Keep us posted - if it is a manufacture defect (bearing or machining) I like to know so I can press them on an extended warranty beyond the self-install one year. These should go many service years before needing maintenance such as bearing replacement.

URD's website still does not list a clutch for the 3.5 V6. Do you know anything about their plans with regard to this? Thanks!

Is anyone else having problems with their magnuson supercharger?

Anyone know a shop that has one in stock?

Only issue I had was the original cap leaking coolant.

1 year here. My nose drive failed, but magnuson honored the warranty and sent me a new nose. I haven’t had any issues since.

What was the miles driven in one year? did you order direct through magnuson? I’m thinking it might be easiest to deal with warranty issues that way.

Could have sworn I replied to this, but it’s not showing up.
Around 15k miles. Yes I bought it from magnuson, but I doubt it matters.

Oh and also my clutch started slipping now at 46000 miles. It only slips under boost while towing at the moment, but I would highly recommend putting an upgraded clutch in your list when they become available at some point. The magnuson SC definitely exceeds the design limits of the stock clutch.

Thanks for the response! Hopefully URD will release an upgraded clutch for this application soon!

Just pulled the trigger on one of these. Can't wait to see the difference, the other two vehicles in the garage are 380hp+. Time for the Taco to keep up!

Strike that, 10 week delivery that I doubt will be met. I canceled for now.

Fine - I think it's just the auto guys that have issues unfortunately. I don't regret the purchase - makes it fun to drive.
