What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Did some basic stuff. Brake Pads and Rotors. Went all OEM and while in there I also replaced the brake pad “guide pins” and installed new shims for the pads as well.

 

How many miles did you get from the first set?

 

I’m the second owner of the truck. I bought it at 20k it now has almost 43k on it, and I’ve owned it 2 years. My lowest pad was probably 4/32. Probably jumped the gun to do them but didn’t wanna get caught up with life stuff and forget about them.

 

I have a set in bronze

 

I got 108 pages behind. I just gave up and skipped ahead. Did I miss anything super cool I need to go back and look for?

Nothing spectacularly crazy.... Maybe @Epic3rdgen 's build....

 

Took off the running boards and painted the pinch weld on the bottom of the cab. Did the AC drain mod and dropped in a K&N Air cleaner. And a some stickers.


I need to find an OEM roof rack and some ditch light brackets to mount my Ridge pods i took off my Tundra.

I'm sold! Any advice on a good one to keep in the truck bed?

 

How difficult was it to remove the plastic "cap" from the sides of the bed. I want to seal this area too. Here in the desert not so much water--but the dust coming in under the "cap" is unending. Can't keep anything clean in there even with my topper sealed up.
