And I’ll have to check my pack. Believe it will be out next year anyways.

Damn. I have my bumps set up pretty conservatively so I wonder if that is the Savin grace up to this point

I've been having pretty good luck with the stock springs. Knock on wood.
    Maybe replace with stock ones....

Looks like my 20 year old stock clutch is done. Started slipping on the way home from work last night after I was bragging to all the duck hunters awaiting opening day today how tough my taco is :(……

My eyes are sore from hours an hours of research on TW here figuring out parts I should replace after the W59 tranny gets dropped In addition to the clutch kit. Going to try to stick with Aisin for potential OEM quality. I won’t be doing this myself and hopefully my local mechanic will take on the work for me because I will get killed at the dealership for sure.

https://www.toyotapartsdirect.ca/ These guys beat the dealers on parts for sure as Recommended by @tacoma16

Just discovering that Rock Auto can be a good source of parts. Is it a dependable company to order from in Canada?

Rock auto is a fine source, I got my ASIN clutch there.
Do the rear main seal while at it, change clutch, see if slave cylinder may need to be changed, check the clutch shift fork for wear and change transmission fluid. That’s all I can think of.

Good to know your experience thank you! I was thinking of main seal as well After reading stuff in the first gen section. Seems like a fork might only be available from Toyota. 30-40 bucks for an Aisin Slave cylinder is a no brainer For my rig.

I just don’t wanna end up with any Napa crapa parts

Did you attempt it yourself or did you get the pros at Sumin to do it?

Correct, the fork is a Toyota only part and yes, Sumin is the only place that my truck gets taken.:spending:

Gave up on trying to find used soft topper :anonymous: any local shops you guys ordered thru that you'd recommend? Not too big of a fan of 4wp.

It's either bestop from anywhere other than 4wp (partsengine.ca, tdotperformance.ca) or a softopper direct from softopper

I had some issues with Toyota parts direct. I’m sure you would be fine getting stock replacements but my specialty order they changed it without me knowing and wouldn’t exchange….was lovely.
