All this discussion on most of the brand shocks here is really nit picking. I've ridden dirt and asphalt roads at normal speeds in my buddies 2019 trd and the same roads in my 2020 sr5...hard to say theirs a real difference you can feel. Maybe driving in serious off road conditions there is a difference that one can definitely tell. I find its more about having the correct size/load range tires, and air pressure in these trucks that make the biggest change.

In Canada 2wd Tacomas are a rarity. And when it comes to models and specs we have less options than South of the border. That's typical of most vehicle models though. I see stuff driving down there that I have never seen before. Your basic options are more common there. We seem to get the more dressed up models as standard.

And, some of us would think the opposite. Hahahaha!

That ACLB OR MT option is particularly lusty as are your more reasonable import rules.

Of course, going south of both of our borders and things get even more interesting.

    Good times!

Their even rare to see here in connecticut. Only ones i see are very old. Seems over 99% of the new tacoma's sold here are 4wd.

IIRC (in Canada) 2WD was only avail early in 3rd gen production, access cab 4 cyl.
I don't know about fleet sales, just what the average Joe could get his hands on.
You can't even configure a 4cyl anymore, at least where I live.

I know in the area that I live in 2wd is unheard of. Most trucks are 4wd no matter the brand cause we need them in Winter especially.
