    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I think, for liability, it's a wise disclaimer to make.

The advantage I would see is it would be cheaper to change out the uni-balls (over time) than to replace with OEM all the time.

Also, OEM ball joints aren't going to be around forever. The last year of 1st Gen is getting close to 20 years old.

Amazing what a little piece of polyurethane can do. Turn like a dream now and fixed the body roll issue I was having. Brakes next. :)

It could be part of the stock front bumper assembly that connects plastic to steel. Maybe the lower plastic that houses the turns signals. I remember seeing something like that years ago while taking my bumper apart.

Its been awhile since Ive posted. Thought I would share the news. I have started to remove the wrap on my Tacoma. I have owned it just over 4 years now and decided its time to see what shape the paint/body are in. I only ever saw 1 photo of the truck prior to the wrap. 20210904_101423.jpg 20210926_075519.jpg 20210926_075542.jpg 20210926_075553.jpg
The hood is a mess but the drivers side looks to be in pretty nice shape. I will continue on the passenger as time allows.

Perhaps too preemptive to post, but I just purchased a bed extender. Seems the best decision for me to justify my short bed.

The guy that grabbed it was local. He’s holding it while the kid I got going gets a date figured out.

Attempted to replace leaking gaskets on the exhaust. Stud on the crossover stripped when I was removing it. Vice grips heat was a no go, welding a nut in was no go. Now to completely remove the crossover so I can have better access to it. Any suggestions on removing? I've seen some have had success dropping the trans a bit, but others not.
