Thanks for @frenchee and @nudavinci64 and others for Baja comments. Got the gaia Nat geo map. Glad to know the gas markings are accurate. I will PM you @frenchee later for more info on camp spots. Sorry to get everyone off the SP topic. I'm glad to have a setup now that will get me to some good spots.

Totally, my comments are more geared for premium gas needs but agree it’s a livelihood for them.

More prep done today. Got the Prinsu cut back. I plan to redrill mount holes for the crossbars and add some low profile 2x1/2 extruded crossbars to stiffen up the middle. The rear crossbar I'll be able to re-use the Prinsu 2x1 extrusion.

Bed mat was also cut to fit around my fridge slide so I can take it in/out easily to clean. Notched down the center and sliced off the other wing, but kept it to fill that small section. Also cut out some fillers plates for the bed cubbies too when I start going through it to seal it up for the camper.

Good call on the 1/2 bars for the rear. I mostly forgot to put them back in but haven’t see the need after the front. Still would like to. Where you grabbing 1/2”?

Also next time I’m driving to chandler much cleaner then a jig saw and grinder.

Talked to the Goose Gear guys at Overland Expo today and got some exciting news. They said they’re rolling out a setup similar to what they offer for AT Overland campers for Super Pacifics soon. Will be posted on their website. Also confirmed their current AT Overland products will have slight fitment issues with the SP.

Nice I recall Roaming lost had them make a setup for his. Pretty sure he was able to go direct with his connection. How much is a full setup?

More than $10k, which is why a lot of people DIY. It's just plywood coated in bedliner that has been CNC'd with perfect measurements and nice hardware like SouthCo latches, 80/20 (or equivalent extruded aluminum).

I have a friend with a shop bot, so if I ever decide to do an interior, I’ll be building my own Moose Beer… Caboose Ear… Loose Gear…

Moose Ear is super close to my home. I ride my bike by there and have talked to him a couple times. Definitely way too much but he's doing well in his business which is still good for the economy. Unfortunately Kommifornistan has helped Who's Spear decide to move out of the state. So it may cost a little less in the future since he'll be taxed less than he is now.

I met Roaming Lost while I was riding my bike around town. Passed by GG and saw RL's rig and wanted to check it out. Think he was getting the rear seat delete at that time.

Crimper died so killing time today.
If anyone has recommendations for a reliable crimper that can crimp minimum 6 gauge please let me know. I’m on my second terrible Amazon unit.

I was crawling through the side door to work on this panel and wiring. Figured open the camper and slide the base panel down. Way nicer access now.
