I was checking your inventory out today and was like “…did someone screw up or are there really no new 4x4s.”

Then I saw that TRD Pro Tundra and was like “…oh. That’s nice.”

Was gonna hit you up, but found my old emails to Jessica, so I shot her an email.

Jessica has moved onto the finance side of things, so she'd likely just refer you back to me anyways. As I learn more about the new Tundras, the doper they get. Plus, sounds like I'm going to have day-1 tuning support for them as well, so pretty stoked to start playing with some twin turbos!

LBR is home from the spa! And her facial is all done; no more wrinkles anywhere!

    Ugh! But all better now.

Some of you remember when there was a lot more of this!

Do the :censored: math, if you're concerned about mpg. I'm not, and never have been. I traded in a Tahoe for a new 'vette in '05, when everyone was dumping big SUVs, due to gas prices. The sales clown tried to stick it deep on the trade in value, saying that no one was buying them, so he couldn't resell it. I told him the math I had already done, and that the difference in my gas outlay per month for the Tahoe, over the POS small SUVs they were selling at the time, using the mpg per each, 12K miles per year, and gas at $4/gallon, (gas was around $3.25 at the time), was $50/month. He laughed and told me that none of his customers had ever done the math, and what he was seeing was people giving their big SUVs away, then discovering the new micro-turd wasn't big enough for Jimmy/Johnny/Don'tForgetAboutSuzy's soccer shit, and coming back to buy something bigger. In effect, getting :censored: coming and going.

So plug in your numbers, see what the actual $ impact would be, and make an educated decision. And, oh yeah...

Just bumped into the KXAN weather man David Yeomans at the Wm Cannon Sprouts, and lost a bet with my wife.

    Dude is NOT gay.

He is short as hell, though.

Had already done the math previously, but couldn’t remember, so I redid it, assuming 15k/ yr at $3/ gal. Came out to roughly $70/ mo.

I had never really cared about mpg till I started doing 25k a year. After 6 years, that finally stopped. Glad I’m not doing that anymore.

I don't go far enough to care anymore, but I still track it, and I still try to do better if I can. Here was an oddity for the summer. Got pretty typical 18 mpg. on the road from here up to Round Mountain for a County road trail ride (which I love - it's my speed). Filled up in Mason after for the trip home. Avg shuffling along the trail?

    31 mpg.
