She didn't really need another excuse to get out more, but it certainly doesn't hurt. She mountain biked 85 miles this week! That's also after having a kid 2 months ago.

    Attaboy!

Sounds like you were mostly unharmed? That last root ball drop thing is horrifying. Good on you for even giving it a go.

Yeah, no bruises or anything cuz my pack took the impact mostly. Thankfully the headache went away. I was a little worried I had a minor C-word for a little bit.

Was really tempted to take the safe road home down John's, but I've been eyeing RedBull for like 3 years now and finally decided enough was enough.

Was that your G-wagen I saw in the lot as I was leaving at around 130ish?

Usually I do as well, but that's after I've already been paid and have the shipping label taped to box. Then it's just a give it to the person on other side of counter and a "have a nice day"
No explanation needed there, but going to a LBS with a box and they give me the WTF do you want us to do look isn't worth it lol.

I completely agree with you. I can’t imagine the look you would get as well.

I’d offer him to do it over PayPal so he can dispute it if you try and screw him.

Yep. Wife rode up around 9k and shadow lake in the morning, then I did a shuttled lap from payroll then Mojave to Trestle to Sweeney. I actually debated RedBull myself, but I have a moab trip planned later this week and didn't wanna wreck myself ahead of that.

Trails were quite busy with leaf peepers, but it was gorgeous out so not surprising.

    not enough.
Damn! I rode the loop way back in 09 when I lived there. So fun. And who knew such riding existed within the city! I should go back and ride it.

Damn dude. Hope you're good. Sorry my elbow is still not wanting to ride. :(

I just adjusted my rear derailleur finally, got it fixed, then realized the Amazon chain guide/ tensioner I installed was pinching the derailleur cable. :homer: Removed it, and shifting was rough again. Re-installed and adjusted, now all is well.

That said... I could use a repair stand. Any recomendations for a budget friendly option? No E-bikes here, and no NEED for a snap-on*esque equivalent.
Everyone here got stand, or some still flipping their bikes upside down. Lol

Good on ya! Glad you're good though.
Been out much? Haven't see you 'round.

Wait till you get the top, from Burro. TWE is legendary for good reason, and the first time you ride it, it certainly leaves an impression.
Hell, I've ridden it many times and it's still an adventure each time.

DAMN! I don't think I've ridden that many miles in a week all year, impressive. A NBD is well deserved.

Well, my personal phone bit the bullet yesterday.
So that crankset probably isn't selling since I can't get ahold of the guy.

Just got back from our Sedona trip. Was a lot of fun and didnt hit any of the crazy trails there. We rode in the Dry Creek and Adobe Jack areas; and oddly enough took a day up to Flagstaff to do a hike which was where overland expo was going on so there were tons of built up trucks and transits roaming around.

Been slammed at work so not out nearly as much as I hoped to be. Now that its cooling off and work is set to hopefully slow down a little in October, I'll def be getting out more.
