    Just installed the TRD cement cue ball knob. HUGE improvement in feel and look. Now to address the floppy shift boot. Any hints?

    I removed the factory plastic piece, folded the boot in a bit more and zap strapped it to the shift lever. I like the way it looks.

    Edit: look at post #16 of this thread for another option.

    Those are pieces of art, but depending on climate, your hand will hate in the extreme cold and the extreme hot.

    Haven’t gone through extreme cold yet but the Colorado summer here didn’t make the knob too hot. The temp resistant ring in the middle helps. I also did buy a knob cover as well just in case things to get too extreme.

    Mine was a bit gray when I got it, I painted it with some flat black paint and it looks much better.
