I would have to chose my 1969 3/4 ton chevy 4x4. It was a beast of a truck, super low 4:56 gears and manual transmission. It was still in very nice condition when I traded it off for my first ever brand new truck. A '93 K1500 shortbox regular cab.
Nice condition meaning the body and interior, mechanically, I didn't trust it out of the city limits hardly. 4 wheel drum brakes, a full time transfer case, no AC, ugh...

I like that a lot.

If we're including motorcycles, then this.
The most reliable only truly reliable bike I ever had.
    Kawasaki makes solid bikes.
And I'm keeping it...but since I still have it, I guess it doesn't count. :notsure:

    That works for me!
She did say car though....that would change my pick to my first car...was 10 years old when I bought it. 1974 Camaro. Both that car and truck in their condition when I got rid of them would both be valued 10x higher today than when I parted with them. If not more

    100% yes!

I'm too chicken to get one myself but I've always wanted one.

    It's a real screamer.
    Not for novice riders.

You'll notice the more upright riding position...unlike the sporties I see these days where the rider looks like a monkey humping a football.

I didn't want to be tempted to let 'er rip, so I got my Vulcan instead.

But that monkey humping a football riding position is so you can stay on the thing when you accelerate from 0-160 mph in 10 seconds.
