I miss when we could respond on that thread. In the end we never really said anything any worse than the mods do

Actually, it's the Mod's outrageous comments while ousting people that I found most entertaining!

Seems an appropriate place for this, or perhaps a review of your latest favourite Taco stand would also work.

There's actually been a fair number of people from what I've seen that have been bashing the idea of the OVT TT kit because "the new 3.5L TT from the Tundra is almost here and it's the same motor, you can just swap the parts into the 3GT and it'll be all Toyota parts."

    How naive. Lol

    1. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no official confirmation yet of engine options from Toyota yet. But I could be wrong. Or that the two 3.5L's are identical (not Toyota's style to do different ones but nonetheless...), that the heads are the same, that they bolt up the same or that they will fit in the 3GT engine bay as a direct swap without needing different manifolds, etc

    2. Buying the turbos and everything required won't even be possible immediately upon release and then once it does become available, it almost assuredly will be very expensive. We're talking a couple years most likely, and then a hefty price tag.

i hope you don't put it on the stock engine. these engines can't handle much boost.
