What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

No pictures necessary but I started outfitting the truck with basic winter readiness gear:

-recovery strap
-shackle hitch receiver
-seatbelt cutter/glass breaker/pocket knife combo
-replenished flashlight batteries
-spare socks/gloves
-jumper cables/flash light for the gf's car

This week I'll finish checking the first aid kits in our cars and order some bulk gloves/hats to keep in our cars to give to those poor souls stuck pan handling all winter. Once I finish that, and the winter detailing, we'll be ready for first snow!

 

Regeared to 5.29's and added an ARB front locker.

 

Rammed my truck through Lower Crushers at Brownscamp yesterday, fun times.

 

is that a screen protector on the head unit? if so does it help with smudges and stuff?

 

The trailer queen is in the final steps of the month long detail while waiting on wheels and tires. Stock polishes up well.

Ordered some Meso door handle covers and they accidentally sent me the dual color map lights instead. I decided to keep the map lights and got them installed. (And ordered the door handles again).



Additionally, in further prep for my upcoming GFC install I did some weather proofing under the bed rail caps:


I also installed a Rok Blok tailgate gap cover, but forgot to take a picture, but those have been posted many times here, so I'm sure you can imagine it.

I cleaned out my shop and put my new 2021 in it, lol. Waiting for the Diamondback and a few other things to show.

 

Our service dog Toby died September 2 after 10 years. H e was my constant companion and pal and a big help to my wife who is in a walker due to a degenerative disc. After much mourning we decided to get another to train before we get any older.

I guess this can be included into what have I done to the Tacoma today.
