I didn’t wire up the DRL function. Not sure how to do that yet.

Do you want them to imitate vehicle's DRL function?

Yeah, I want them to be always on & bright. Just not 100% sure what wires in the door to tap and what type of connection I should use.

Well that is NOT parallel with the vehicle's DRL circuit, that would be Bright at Start, Dim when Low beams are selected.
For always bright only, any fused IGN source. There's a source at each door, no need to run it through the door boot.

For anyone with the v2 puddle pod connectors, which color wire (red/ white from the v5 turns) goes to which wire on the puddle pod 2 pin connector? Or do i leave the white wire unconnected since it will be a bright only connection? I might have missed it, but I don't think anyone covered this specifically.

    Bright only = RED
You could connect the pigtail to puddle mating and turn the vehicle ON, whichever end has juice is the one. Pod needs ground to illuminate...

Hook up the red to either of the those wires and it will light up bright

Out of curiosity, does that mean the white wire stays disconnected?

Hey guys I wanted to ask if y’all could help me troubleshoot. I installed the V5’s, ran them through the door boot in to the engine bay and connected both them to my drivers side morimoto headlight using the PNP connector. Everything works as it should off, bright DRL, dim DRL, and sequential amber turns.

The issue is that when the lights are in the bright DRL position and I turn on the right turn signal on it causes hyper flashing on the entire right side.

The left turn signal does not hyper flash. I checked connections in the turn signal and they look okay

If only Bright is your preference, then YES.

I would guess it's the Morimoto headlight. Test the turn with the connector to the Morimoto Headlight disconnected. It should hyper-flash at a different speed. (just a test)

Not sure, the wording is a little ambiguous, but it reads as probably just a single signal. Edited out my contact info.68224BE0-D427-41E8-8B5A-FEE547FE012F.jpg

Got 'em Saturday and installed today. DRL not officially connected, but tested. Waiting for LED light harness from @daveeasa. Post status says Friday.

I got lucky on the lights, all the LED's work :D

Passenger' side IGN & Parking Tap at P21 for Taco's with anti-jam windows.
These are fine for the taps:

    Or do this:
    upload_2021-9-29_17-27-44.jpg
V5 DRL added relay (5 pin) in parallel with Headlight DRL relay, at Low Beam select Main Body ECU shuts down ground source to both. Headlight DRL dims via feed from Parking circuit, V5 added relay switches from NC to NO providing power to Dim side of V5 via add-a-fuse IGN source.
