    I will add that for the loop when I did it it was late May, nobody got stuck and there were stock Jeeps that day running 32/33 size tires. They possibly had to use more momentum but I didn't see it because being the only local (Canadian) in the group I was voted as leader for the loop... But that video shows there are potential spots for sure.

    I think taking this entire side should be fine, there are some camp spots as you drive further along the beach and some spots behind the trees that are accessible as you start black loop trail.

    Just and FYI, that campsite might be full by the those other offroad clubs. since we are planning on taking on the black lake beach as a base, the other groups will move up to round lake or south to dogfish. One of those we'll see sort of scenarios and not 100% sure about being able to clean out there if they do set up shop. However there is a mud bog just outside of it that we can take a look at but i dont feel like going through some camp site if there is no one there and there is also the boggy interior that might have some stuff...

    since we have 4-5 trucks going up, think it'll be worth spreading ourselves thin along the black lake beach and into the "ballsack" portion of @Norilsk 's drawing in the post above.

    Just so it's in one post;
    to my understanding there is a thursday night group that will be rolling out after work around 5:00pm - Just gonna summarize but are we all fine meeting up at King City onroute on the 400 North to Barrie? head up and take the black lake beach

    @tacoma16 , @Saturnine , @somebody , @zuknewbie , @Shveet
    if anyone wants in on the thursday night run, speak now or forever hold your lockers :D

    If you see camp site is taken, you may skip it or clean around it without disturbing those who are there, or you can ask them to participate ;) There is no such thing as a bad thing when you try to maintain trails and camp sites!

    I do recommend everyone to bring spare set of shoes, you'll need it!

    Planning on Thurs night rollout. This relies on me working from home so as long as work does not mess this up for me.

    That's why we practice social distance :D Slower traffic must always yield(same as ATV/Dirt bikes have priority on the trails), but an average off-roader IQ is extremely low so that’s hard to explain to most out there without getting into a fight…

    We are starting as usual around 10AM for the group trail rides to avoid congestion.

    Also some prizes that we will have on the site for Saturday night for TEC members.

    The most amount of garbage collected by the team gets:
    1. Poncho
    2. Rapid pure water filter water bottle with filters
    3. Two outdoor kits (survivor kits, survival ponchos and blankets, bug nets)
    4. First aid kit

    The most Broverland setup ( we would do club voting at the fire camp on Saturday night):
    1. Overland book -> Travel The Planet Overland | a2a Expedition
    2. Recovery straps
    3. Me-So chrome delete kit for 3rd gen Tacoma (AT only) -> Interior Chrome Delete Kit – MESO CUSTOMS LLC
    4. Fancy storage case

    The wild one (based if somebody does something crazy, we have one of those every year;))

    1. TEC Club flag :canada:

    So it looks like it may rain Saturday :/. How have you dealt with the rain in regards to the bonfire? I have not camped in the rain before. Are we going to be leaving our tents on the beach while we're on the trail?

    by the way, anyone else bringing their significant other?

    No rain can kill the fires once it's started :bananadead:
    If it rains, use any tarp you can get your hands on above your tent. If it rains heavy we build tarp city. There should be quiet few rational others looking at all this :crazy: You can leave your camping setup there, don't leave valuable items such as power tools tho.
