We were talking about doing a smaller weekend camp/wheel trip out this way instead, probably not the same weekend but hopefully not long after.

I got stopped at the California-Oregon border crossing and I was getting ready in my head how to explain why I had 12 gallons of washer fluid and 16 cans of brake cleaner.

Rules specify that for a unibody vehicle, 6x6 inch plates are to be welded to the sill/floor for the main hoop (and all the other legs too).


But I need to know if Corner A can be cut off so that I can butt it into corner B, which would in theory create a sturdier connection to the chassis, but that would make it no longer 36in^2...however it would still be 24 inches in perimeter.

 

I have no idea

 

Know anyone who would?

Yikes. OEM inner TRE's are $180. Maybe mine are good enough with 215,000 miles

Are Moog the greasable set with blue boots?

 

We got him setup proper... but it did look really suspect under that tonneau cover.

 

blue is almost always mevotech.... Moog like blacc and sometimes the hidden boots

 

Annnd Mevotech supreme are $38. Now I'm suspicious in the other direction.
