Nice It should be a pretty simple install then. I am 99% sure i just unbolted the bottom ball joint and slid the spindle back to install the coils/shocks. Labor is insane at shops for these easy jobs. If its a friend I just ask for a bottle of Whiskey.

Yeah I don't consider myself competent enough to ask for payment anyway lol.

I was wondering about what to disconnect to slide the coilovers in so that's good to know. On my truck I've just been able to bolt them right in without disconnecting anything, but I know most people have to create more room.

I love how the Kings just slide in and out on 1st gens like butter. Same thing with the 3rd gen 4runners. I think that may be true with 2nd gens and Kings also. The 5100s are just longer when not under load. Also the 2nd gen lower ball joint bolts are 17s and there is only 2 super easy to remove plus Socal truck so No rust. You shouldn't have any problem.

After I started putting a flat washer under the head of the VC bolts, it stopped any leaks as the gasket would get older. The bolts have a shoulder that keeps them from being tightened so far. Adding a washer gives the bolt a little more bite to tighten down the gasket.

You get exposed or? I've only taken one and it was the oral swab, but I hear they aren't as accurate

I spent 2 days in airports and 3 days at a trade show last week. Friend has young kids, don’t want to expose them, so a pcr test seemed prudent.

When I added the coilovers to the GX I didn't have to disconnect anything except the sway bar to allow for more droop.
