I started driving logging roads when I was around 13. At 14 I had an old 2WD truck that I would sneak out on those logging roads when my parents were at work.

I kept from getting stuck because I knew it meant using a come-along to get out, walking out of the woods to get a buddy to pull me out, or I would get my ass beat and grounded once I got home.

I have a crazy aversion to getting stuck and try to avoid it.

    Small fail today.

Didn't realize my auto darkening hood didn't come with the flat battery, so I had to use my passive for a short bit.

Even though I won't be learning MIG for a couple of weeks, I was taught to set up the machine and do some tack welds for a project I'll be brazing together.

Did a few good ones, but also had the wire stick twice due to not being able to see at all. Did the "flick" trick and it did work a few times, but not always, in keeping my hand where I needed it to start.

Getting a battery for that hood now that's for sure!

reminds me of one of my funniest memories, hotboxing my brother in my old car with curry farts so bad it nearly ruined the upholstery. Locked the doors and windows on him and he started crying it was so bad. That was probably 17 years ago and I still laugh about it lol

Same grille but I bought mine brand new lol. Looks better when it’s painted a different color and has a 4Runner emblem.

I am 98 pct moved, just have the fridge and some small boxes left. Need to do a basic clean, too.

If anything broke I haven't found it yet :D I haven't unpacked anything except some kitchen stuff.

Though my Ikea dresser made it all the way and broke when we unloaded it but 4 years and a couple moves is long lifespan for IKEA
