Alpine IVA-W505

Does anybody have any experience or input on the Alpine IVA-W505?

Also, no store that I know of carries it AND will install it. Is there a place that anybody knows of that will install. Possibly near Annapolis, MD?

 

Just do it yourself man it is really just plug and play. I did mine with a little help from the tutorials at *********.com you can get the dash kit from them and the wiring harness. Basically strip the wires from the harness and match them with the wires on the alpine and crimp those together. After that plug the harness into the trucks harness and you should be working. I did mine with little experience it saved me about 75 bucks and it was fun.

i love mine! i added the tr7 bypass module to it so i can watch movies while my car is in motion. its really great for roadtrips! it was a fairly easy install. pm me if u need a hand.

 

I got a question about the speed detector. The pioneer unit I am looking at has one but I dunno about the alpine. Anyway i guess it connect to the trucks computer so the gps knows exactly where u r for bette rdirections. Did u guys hook this up?
