We would've been screwed if it wasn't for the group behind us to help with the recovery

I do have to say. This ATR will go down as the most epic for me at least.

over 3k just to travel there and back, that doesn’t include the tacoma work lol.

    Ope
Definitely thought we were gonna get robbed at a gas station around 3 am in Tennessee on the way home by some crack heads.

    Goooood times.

I’d do it again. And again.

Those are the best trips. Hell the ones that I've been on where we've had the most mishaps are the ones with the fondest memories the others are yeah I went there and did that meh kinda memories.

Same. I know one import drifting crew that are actually solid guys, it seems like everyone else whether it's rally, GT3 autocross, drift, drag, whatever, they're all douche canoes. I've made some fantastic friends in the off-roading world and I've only been in it for a handful of years.

See that ticks me off because I talked to Brett Smokey of Titan when you guys called in about that blown motor and he said he would send a guy with extra recovery gear in an XJ on 42s with lockers and winches. That canoe never showed up.

That's what's up. I'm definitely going to Shamrock. We've got enough people to run our own trail rides without Titan. Which stinks cuz there's a handful of Titan guys I'd love to have drive with us legitimately good dudes. Like the tail gunners on that doomed ride on 13. Solid guys.

Hindsight is 2020 I know of a few things that could of done differently to make it go faster with them too. But I learned stuff and have even used it now. I also know for later dragging a completely dead vehicle off a trail some tricks to make it go a little easier. I treat those times as complete learning experiences and try and store as much of what happened away to use for later.

Yup. That's how it's been for me with wheeling for about 3-4 years now. What to do and what not to do

Meh is what it is no worries.

I don't really like the guided rides anyways I'd rather ride with guys I know and know their ability and willingness to jump in when shit goes south vs a bunch of guys who freeze like deer in the headlights.

Like the group ride on day 2 for instance. They spent how long getting that fallen tree off the trail?
