Is it okay to wax a brand new truck?

I just purchased my truck about 3 weeks ago, and I have since washed it twice already. I wanted to wash it again soon, but I wanted to take her to a detailer and get a full wash and wax. I have read different things about waxing a brand new car so soon and that I should wait 1-3 months from build date. I checked inside the door jamb and she has a date of 09/21, should I wait it out or can I get a wax done?

 

The 1-3 months is right after it's been painted. A new truck should be cured before the dealer takes delivery so apply whatever you like.
