That was the biggest unsung high light of pushing the taco out to test the suspension setup. I finally got to sweep the whole thing, I had been vacuuming regularly but there's only so much one can do. There was so much grinding dust, rust, and dried mud.

Absolutely. That stuff accumulates, esp the grinding dust. I’m still finding dirty ledges from my rustocalypse a year ago

    Sorry this happened to you.
If you can absorb the financial loss don't file an insurance claim.
I had 4 burglaries in 3 months and the police told my home owners insurance.
I was promptly reimbursed and dropped after the 4th time.
I could no longer get owner occupant insurance after that even though I owned 3 houses. That's when I moved on to my boat full time.

No I browsed the website for a second, saw the gif of the fake mouth/throat undulating and a fat guy with tattoos doing the cabbage patch and decided to nope out of there before it got weirder.

    Sorry to hear that.

Things like window locks, reinforced entry door plates, replacing all your door hinge and striker screws with 6” screws, laminated glass window treatments, motion detector lights, etc are good things to deter crimes of opportunity. I’ve helped many homeowners out with this sorta thing because it’s common around here. A good security system (something like SimpliSafe, avoid corporate security services like ADT) will get you a long way.

I’m partial to Ring doorbells, but for security cameras… always go with wired. The wireless ones are gimmicks in my opinion. Build a PoE system with good quality cameras like Hikvision or Dahua. They’re easy to run with CAT6 cable.

I think while trying to explain the horror show that's going on in this thread right now to Barto, I actually created the best device description for the robo fap.
