All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Bear tried to eat my lasagna last night!

Bear can’t climb because they don’t have opposable thumbs.

Not sleeping related but after many years I finally saw a bear while hiking a few weeks ago and did not get eaten.

All this talk of bears and we're renting a cabin up in the mountains for a week soon. Not a RTT but it gets you thinking...guess I'll take the 45 with me.

Last year down the lake a black bear tried to get in a house. I am well prepared if he comes around here.

I am more afraid of a gun toting human than any wildlife.

Of course not. They don’t have arms or legs. Those are obvious prerequisites for climbing a ladder.

The gun doesn’t make a difference to me. Humans are definitely a bigger threat whether they are armed with a gun or not.

Bear in my garden the other day. Can confirm, didn't touch my rtt, didn't get eaten. Therefore my conclusion is you're probably safe

Fires in CA are bringing the bears way closer to people. Ive never seen a bear in my life before in CA, and I have always camped, hiked, backpacked. Heard them at night, but never seen in daytime. But in the last year me and 6 of my friends/family have all seen them on hikes or camping trips multiple times. No grizzly's here thank god, just black and browns.

Strange that the mountain lions havent been that prevalent this year.

I doubt an RTT would provide any safety, but least you might get a better view of whats going on in camp than from a ground tent.

I don't feel that way. I'm sad that we murdered all the grizzlies for sport. The people that lived here for 13,000+ years did just fine with them, and then expansionists came and killed them all for no good reason. We might as well put an oil derrick or a 12-lane freeway on our state flag instead of the grizzly; it better reflects our relationship with the flora and fauna.
