Formal Intro

I’ve posted a few times but haven’t formally introduced myself. My name is Jarod. Married with one kid (almost 8yrs old)… I recently bought a friends 09 Tacoma TRD Sport for… don’t flame… $5k. It has 241k miles. He bought a 2020, so my truck has the 2020 wheels and shocks on it as he upgraded his as soon as he got it.

So far only thing I’ve done is plasti dip the badging. I just didn’t like the gold badges on the Timberland Mica. I had to put a battery on it and rear brakes. It needs an idler pulley and I have some rubbing on the driver rear that I’ve yet to track down.

Thank you. The pic is from before I got the truck. The side badging was rhino lined when he did the rest of the truck. The tacoma symbol in the grill is black now. The front bumper also fell off when he had it and scratched it all to hell. But, it is a truck not a show queen and it will be used as such.
