where the drivers door and the drivers side of the dash board meet, is where is coming undone

I think that part just pushes into place. Have you tried that?

This was a big problem back when the 2005 came out. Mine never did it but I read a ton of complaints on it back then over at TOYOTANATION.COM. If you do some searching you might find the threads. Some fixed it and some had it done under warranty.

Warranty or not, if you never took it apart, i would absolutely take it in to the dealer and say 'what this?'

I can't imagine them not taking care of it.

I'd roll the dice with it.

Go in as though you are confident they will button it up for you. A lot of times, your approach goes a long way in getting the desired results.

In other words, go in as though you expected it to be taken care of.

How much can clips be, even from Toyota? I can't imagine more than a few bucks.

If they give you a hard time at all, i would act shocked and go with the 'you've got to be kidding me' routine.

Only grudingly and after all the dramatics were exhausted (wide eyed, dramatic *sigh*, etc) would i say something along the line of 'well, if you guys don't stand behind this', what do i need to do to fix the thing myself?"

If it goes that far, they will pull it up on the screen and i can't imagine it would be over $10.00-15.00 depending on the # of clips, if i understood the discription of the issue.

Seriously, for something seemingly so cheap and easy for them to address, i can't imagine them not taking care of it. 06' truck?

either have the tsb done or buy the clips listed and fix it. not a huge problem.
