Glad I had the skid plate, but the tires did fine!
Not much traffic, stopped to let a convoy of ATVs by but only saw a few pink Jeeps here and there.
It was a little bit slick and I did end up crunching the skid a few times because I slipped but dare I say the aluminum skid took it like a champ!

Once I have some better connection I’ll have to upload a pic of me up on Submarine rock!

    Fun stuff.

I actually dont mind riding in the rain, once you accept that you are soaked and the roads are slippery its not that bad.

Its the folks on 4 wheels loosing their minds that ruins it for me

Whit was too. She was already terrified of me following here to breakfast. Did have fun drifting a little. The harly is so much more stable when doing burnouts and getting the rear end loose around corners.

Yeah I dont mind much in the rain if I have my gear. All I had was my sweatshirt, vans, and vest. No helmet..... yeah I am ignorant. But seeing the rains and getting worse then driving from cottonwood up to strawberry and pine to payson then to show low. It was just more twisty roads than I wanted to fuck with

    Damn that was fun!:thumbsup:C1C4A390-5FB5-4D7B-A343-AF6E90E41296.jpg

I think it spoke pretty well of the HT tires that they managed to make it with very little slippage even when totally packed with mud. Definitely gonna wear these out before looking for ATs, no reason not to!

Also I saw some side steps on another 4Runner that I actually really liked, and I am half considering looking at finding them and seeing how much they cost. They definitely weren’t predator steps, I know that much.

So I'm gonna be a shameless shill for my new favorite eatery for a minute.

If you guys have seen Salad and Go around and still haven't tried them, I'd ask you to give them a shot. Ever since I started my new job, I found myself eating out alot through drive-thrus as I went about my day. I've also been trying to get motivated to get my weight back to a place I consider happy.

I'd seen Salad and Go around and finally gave them a shot and let me just say it's all I've been eating for the past few weeks for Breakfast and Lunch.

Partly because they're incredibly well priced. They have the best breakfast burrito *for the money* hands down, at $3. All of their salads are $5.74 (unless you add steak or shrimp or something) and their drinks are all $1. I spend just under $11 a day between breakfast and lunch and am eating healthier and better quality food than I have since I started.

So if you're hungry and see them around, give them a try. Even if only for the breakfast burritos.

Agreed. Salad and go is worth every penny. And the salads are huge! I love their sangria and chicken Caesar salad. The burritos are great. Only downside is their drive thrus are tiny on their newer locations. My tundra had to do a 5 point turn at one of the locations just to get to the window. Pro tip, get two dressings, pour half of the salad salad in a separate bowl for lunch and use one dressing so you have another salad for dinner in the container with the remaining dressing.

We get their breakfast burritos all the time at the shop. Usually send one person and pick up 10 or so. Last weekend I picked them up for the guys working with me on Saturday and was only like 24 bucks for like 7 burritos. Lol

That was my go to dinner place when I got off of work at 8am. Open early enough I could actually get something good to eat before going to bed. Love their salads. Haven't tried the burritos tho. Kinda sad we don't have one up here.

I will hop on this choo choo train. Salad and go Burros are the shit except for the one with tortilla chips in there. Never had their salads, but we get the burros for the shop almost every Saturday. Also their frozen drinks are amazing in the summer.

I haven't had a bad salad from them yet. Their caprese salad is great for sating the urge for Pizza without gorging yourself on pizza

But I've been doing their Cobb, substituting the cheese for jalapeno and the dressing for oil and vinegar. So good.
