Take a look at 3/4" pipe clamps from Jorgensen. Depending on the pipe lengths....infinite grip lengths are possible

In my woodshop, I have 4' and 6' pipe clamps. Using 3/4" pipe couplings, I could make 1 clamp with almost a 40' grip. Or conversely, I could make shorter grips with various lengths of 3/4" pipe nipples.

Ok....shudder slowly came back to the same degree it was before the high octane and the trans filter change.

Was at just under 1/4 tank.

So I filled up and shudder gone.

So it seems the degree of shudder is directly related to the weight of the fuel.

    U joints?

Both times shudder disappeared, a vibration remained. I'm convinced it's front bearings.

Hubs with pre-installed bearings getting delivered tomorrow from 05taco4x4.

    That's next step. Hopefully Friday.

    Then I'll tackle the driveshaft.

I installed 05taco4x4's front hub/bearings, slightly less vibration. Definitely noticed less resistance free rolling.

Still had vibs increase as fuel tank level decreased.

I ordered and installed that pre-built, balanced drive shaft I posted earlier.

There is no more vibration, even with low fuel in tank.

I didn't notice any u joints grinding or loose when inspecting after removal of original drive shaft.

I do think the extra slip joint between the carrier bearing and the differential on the new drive shaft will help eliminate any excess lineal forces on the rear u joint and the carrier bearing.

Even though the carrier bearing looked and felt good when the original shaft was installed, I believe it was the culprit and or a balance issue as well.

I'm just gonna rebuild it, have it rebalanced and store it for any future need.

And oh btw, I just finished my 3rd drain and fill after the initial transmission pan drop, so that's as fresh as the fluid is gonna be for the next 100k miles.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this multi-issue thread.

    I really appreciate the guidance.
