In case you've ever wondered what it's like to drive a tractor trailer through a narrow Wood Trail... Here you go.

Heavy rain all day today, it's gonna be a challenge. Just driving in 4 wheelers are driving like idiots. Gonna be tough on the freeways today with flooding and spinouts.

Gonna be another rain day today. Rivers are cresting here and roads are closed with water over them. It's quite the storm, we are on the backside of it now. After today things should dry out.

Covering for another driver that is off today. Started at 6 am, I hate mornings, lol. Driving his truck too because it hauls more. First load today is 69k+
Driving another man's truck is like fishing with his pole, I don't like it. Truck feels wierd, shifts different, mirrors are funky, just not my old pos truck. But it's only for a day so I'll deal with it.

No trucking for me today. I took a vacation day to work on my garage roof. It will be the second day of tear off work and wood replacement of a planked roof. 2 layers of shingles is no fun to remove. Especially when your over 60. Lol,

Well back to work today, itll feel good to get back in the rig after a long physical work weekend doing a tear off of my garage and rotted wood replacement. I'm sore as can be. Hands, legs, and back are very sore. But the garage is almost prepped for the new roof. So itll feel good to take it easy a bit, lol.

Thats cute. This was pine... a light load for me. I average 87-90 k when hauling hardwood.

In FL were classified as agriculture hauler so were permitted to 88k.

Lol. I'm a woodworker, always wanted to work in the logging industry, but too old for that now. So I'll stick to hauling bolts and fastners, way easier on my aging body.

After 20 billion straight days of rain... we get to enjoy a few sunny days here as well. The heat and humidity are still around though.

My last job was driving a roll off... You haven't experienced bounce until you rode in one of those. And what was worse... the truck I was assigned for the longest time was a 2001 RD Mack that had been warn slapped tf out before I even set my rear end into it. And good God the landfills... I came home with constant headaches from smacking my head on to the ceiling.

Edit. Holy crikey's I still have a picture of it.
