Checked and dust shields are not bent.

I saw nothing in or around the brakes. There was some stuff in the brake pads hole that indicates how much is left. Cleaned that out a little but no change.
Took it for a drive and swerved but there was no change at all to the noise. It literally sounds like something is unevenly rubbing around the rotor but I don't see any marks on the rotor.

I believe for me, it's something with the rotor. Something is unevenly rubbing against it. Further past that, I have absolutely no clue.

I’m not sure if I could make a line to test the pressure.
mone did too but it will do it now at random.

    1. got the right fluid
    2. I will check for mechanical binding. It does feel like it but I would assume it would occur more often and at the same turning pace. Not just randomly.

    thanks.

You can use red transmission fluid, I’ve been using it on all my trucks. There is no such thing power steering fluid anymore really.

then you might have a warped rotor.
i changed my breaks out but never changed my rotor as it was still good. Harsh/ sudden breaking can cause it to warp after a certain point - which i think is why i heard the sound on my truck.

on a side note, i figured out a solution to mine.
Just turned up the music :D

Believe it’s suppose to be atf. Based on the steering rack replacement thread.

I have done some sudden and harsh braking recently...
    401 traffic is not kind.

I always have the music turned up.
It's when I turn the music down that I notice issues.

Hey guys, I've decided to get the Headstrong Add A Leaf and the extra 1/2 inch shims. I'm planning to also pick up a set of Bilstein shocks. Do I need to get the 5125's, or will the 5100's also work with the 2 inch lift of the AAL's?

Well today was the day, after 8 months of searching, I finally moved in to my new house.

It wasn't without incident as the old owners were not even moved out by the time I got here. Nor are they done moving at the time of writing.

Anyways forget all that - the important part - I now have garage. (Still full of their junk)

Congratz! I had a similar experience when I moved into my current house. The previous owners were still moving out long after we got the keys, and even the next day. Luckily we had a weeks overlap between getting the new house and giving up our old house so we weren't moving the bulk of our stuff for a few days.
