Is there something really prohibitive about making these? I'm trying to figure out why they aren't available. It's not like every 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma has the same front diff or anything.

Wouldn't it be cool to have locking hubs so we don't have to care as much about what goes in the front clamshell?

And we probably won't camp, the dang dogs are too needy and can't be trusted off-leash. I was just wondering out loud really.

 

You have an ADD essentially the same thing as locking hubs.......

 

Essentially yeah. That one wheel does spin the differential though when coasting. I know it's not a good argument for locking hubs, I just want what I want.

 

That's why with an actuated locker such as arb or Harrup it won't ever spin the diff same with the open diff you have now it just spins the one spider gear.
