Those weren’t the best years for Jeep. I’ll never forgive AMC for the Pacer.

Anyone know where I can find a used 255/85r16 AT tire in Sacramento? Trying to get one for my spare steelie. I called around for a bit but it looks like I'm gonna need to end up ordering a new one.

So are 373 carriers different than the 410 and 456?
I'm going to 456 in mine. Having 6 speed manual not sure much difference in 456 to 488 maybe a half a gear but like to save a little for the freeway.

I thought I was done with truck mods. One more.

He’s 12w old chocolate lab. I rolled into Sutter to check him out. He’s pretty cool. Able to knock small children down in a single bound, comes when called (mostly), loves carrying stuff in his mouth. All the things you want in a Labrador.

I’ve gotta get a couple things arranged before he comes home but that should be early next week. It’s looking like his name will be Kimo for his relaxed vibe.

I'm starting to look into getting an awning and the 270 size looks great but pricey....I like the look of the FSR awnign you linked and if it is really 37lbs thats even better....now to justify the $900 price tag...

Honestly...if it really is 37lbs - I might bite the bullet. I think they just came out with their 270 awning. Couldn't find any videos on YT about it yet.

Yeah, CVT had a couple people testing out the 270 before they brought it to market. Hopefully some videos will show up soon.

Just buy it and let me know how you like it...lol

So far so good. I haven't slept in it yet. I didn't get the mattress with mine. I have a memory foam matteress in it now but i'm looking to get somthing like a exped sleeping mat for it.

I love how easy it is to take on and off. I was thinking of possibly buying the quick release mounts but the set is like $269 and i'm too cheap to pull the trigger on that....lol

When are you expecting yours to ship?

Waiting on an email back from GFC with an anticipated ship date...
Hoping that it's somewhat soon since they just collected shipping costs, but who knows

Mine is coming without a mattress and ladder, will probably add the ladder on and am on the lookout for a well fitting pad.
Heard the GFC one that was available with the tent is super comfortable, just don't think it's available

Also, yeah $269 for those mounts is a good chunk of change, but damn they look convenient

Anyone planning a trip from Reno to Sac anytime soon?

My son, just ordered a Trail Gear bumper for pick up in Sparks. I'll go pick it up, just wondering if someone may be making that trip, Just lookin to see if someone is headed that way anyway.

Did some work on Jens truck today

    Before

    So... We're replacing
LCAs (with bushings and ball joints)
UCAs (with bushings and ball joints)
    Inner/outer tie rods.
    Both CVs

And now I think I'm going to order pitman arm, idler arm, and idler arm bracket

Got most of the tear down done, pressure alwashed the wheel wells, got the LCAs and UCAs in place.
