PB itself is credible. Most of us here use PB for our own buying/selling.

Just be an educated buyer. Scammers and asshats are everywhere.

I think having an actual profile is super helpful on the buyer side. If someone sends me a message with no info in the message or profile and a random offer I usually don't respond.

I’ve bought and sold a number of items on PB and I can say that most of the time it’s been a smooth transaction. I’ve had much better luck on here than on PB though. Never been scammed on PB but just a lot of tire kickers and no responses on there vs other sites. And agree, always do PP goods and services.

One of my local rides was burnt to a crisp in the Cameron Peak fire on 10-27-2020 a year ago. They just finally re-opened the trail system last week. I hit it up 9-27-2021 Monday for the first time since it re-opened. Lots of fire carnage but also some great work on rebuilding bridges and rebuilding parts of the trail. Bobcat Ridge Colorado.

I took a photo of my bike hanging in a tree one month before the place burned. I tried duplicating that photo the best I could after the fires. Problem being the branch of that tree burned off.

Tire upgrade on my daughter's Trek FX. 42c fit just fine (up from 35). You could probably squeeze in a 45-46c between in chain stays IF you file down..what I think is.. a rear fender mount tab.

    Followed ya.

Was supposed to go this weekend also, but we're 6 weeks away from delivery now and wifey's not really feeling up to camping in her state. With the kiddo arriving, might be a minute... Maybe I can sneak in a solo trip, who knows...
