When I was young, I was poor.

Now after decades of work, I am no longer young

Leave Sunday for 3 weeks at a cabin on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Actually an hour up the Gunflint trail from there. Plan was to do the same pre cook lots of meals etc. Still haven't made THE grocery store trip, including Costco.

During conference calls this morning working from home I did manage to modify 4 five gallon gas cans to make them usable.

Ripped out flash guards. Drilled and snaked tire valve stems for vents. And got decent spouts for them. That work without putting yourself through a torture chamber.

Worth it where I am headed there isn't much of anything. But will have to make a trip or 2 down to the shore to replenish food and supplies. Maybe even do laundry :anonymous:

I hear you. But honestly Andy I have no desire to go back to boiling hot dogs and then cooking mac n cheese in the hot dog water just so you have a taste of meat. We are a bit more than a "little" better off than we were at one time. At least hope you are.

Then again been 12 years since I got divorced after 24 years of marriage and found out this Spring my Ex has a $120,000 judgment against her. And because the divorce lawyer and title company on a refi in 2012 didn't do their job I paid them for her name is\was still on the title to the house. Which puts a lien against my home for $120,000.

Long story but been going back and forth with lawyers all summer, one reason not been on here. Too damn depressing and I never considered myself depressed, yeah it sucks my heart goes out to you and @vssman ...

Finally tonight the lawyer I hired said if I pay $500 go away money plus filing fees they will give me a free title. Still chaffed but don't have much of a choice. I want my home back LOL. We should have been lawyers. Wait pretty sure both of our parents were married so couldn't.

Extra credit for the bunny slippers!

Hopefully no circus acts involved. Glad you both had a chance to get away for a short while. Always nice to reconnect.

A little of this and a little of that.
    Good morning. :hattip:

Did I mention that I’m off work this week/weekend? :bananadance:

Our vacation days start/end on your hire date anniversary. I hired on in October, so I usually have several vacation days left to use in September of every year. No roll over, use or lose.

Enjoy the day and stay safe.
