Thanks for the reply. I'm going to ask for the build sheet and still ask about a temporary vin. I realize having or not having the vin won't make it get built faster lol. Because he moved the arrival date the next day when I put my deposit down it makes me suspect that the first delivery date was only to get me to put money down and not look anywhere else. The delivery date could then be even later so I just want to know if he's bsing me, and being in Canada it probably takes longer to get it delivered to my Province. I would just like to know when to expect it so I can plan my finances as I'm paying cash for the full amount. I've been holding off on selling my 2018 Tundra which only has 13,000 km on it. I know it will sell fast and for what I paid or more which is crazy. I know what I'm getting as here in Canada we don't have the same options on packages as you do. We don't have tech package or all the premium packages. Im buying a sport premium that you can get the base sport or premium, that's it. It has the technology and its the same as the $4700 Premium package you have. The only difference is if I want the tonneau cover its an accessorie. I also added the trd suspension and trd exhaust which will get installed at the dealer. Oh, ours all come with mud flaps installed lol. The good thing is that my dealer didn't add a market adjustment, not only that is I was able to get $1500 off msrp so I am thankful for that.
I guess I'll see what I can find out tomorrow. Thanks again !

Curious, being in Winterpeg, are you getting the optional block heater installed?

Good job amigo! Just did 41k out the door yesterday on mine and its the same except for green.

What will be your first upgrade/purchase. I got matching ratchet straps (opposed to my rusty as heck ancient ones) and the glove box/console organizers.

Roughly 45k out the door for my TRD pro, MT. (They also gave me 15,500 for my 2008 FJ cruiser.) They have a friends/family discount and "clear" discount @ Beaverton Toyota, which knocked off roughly $500. I also used the $500 recent grad discount. 2.49% APR.

There are a few dealerships in my area that are taking a firm stance on not selling above MSRP - none are going below, beyond built-in discounts.

    Oh look, another mod....
Man, it is so nice to hear that there aren't scumbag dealerships trying to pick our pockets for even more money. It's always refreshing to hear good news (in general), than the usual toxic stuff we see/read/hear about on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, you never read about the moderately good/bad experiences. It's always the ones that are exceptionally good or bad, which really skews perspective *Co-FOX/CNN new- ugh*

MetalTech. They are somewhat local-ish to me and have known the owner for years. I ran their sliders on my 80 series and punished them without issue.

i'm in the Lower Hudson Valley, never had much luck with dealers around here. cast your net a little wider and you'll find something. after visiting a few local dealers and getting nowhere, i got online and identified specific trucks i was interested in within a few hundred miles, then sent out emails. of the more than a dozen or so emails most wouldn't answer a direct price inquiry, instead playing games to try to get me into the dealership first. a couple came back with a price over msrp. one quoted me msrp and had a website that allowed for getting a full quote, with options and fees, etc. pretty much everything except doing all the signatures. i gave them a cc# for a deposit (which they never put through) and then had to wait 5 days before i could make time to rent a car and drive 6 hours to the other side of PA. (Cochran Toyota in N. Huntingdon.) but i knew what i was going to pay before i made the trip.

four years ago i went through the same process and ended up driving 3 hours, to MA, to get a decent deal on a VW. dealers in this area are crap.

FWIW We bought ours at the Lithia Toyota dealer in Klamath Falls. Really was a random last phone call to see if they had one or any coming at the time. I didn't even think about checking there or knew they had a dealer LOL (We live in Medford, so only 85miles away or so). We did check with Springfield, Eugene, Beaverton, and couple others north of us.

Anyway the dealership was straight foward, no BS. Sign here and here are the keys.

Just picked up a 2021 SR5 in army green with the trail package. Let me tell you now I am NOT happy with how much I ended up paying but I needed to replace my 2006 VW GTI STAT so I ended up paying just over $41k after TTL. The car market is F**KED here in Wisconsin :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

Agreed for you folks. When I purchased my 2020 I opted for the dealer installed block heater too. It was $460.00 and got the extra 10M cable at $100. However, I live in the Lowermainland with mostly balmy winters but plan to move/retire to the BC interior where winters are more real. Hoping that having this installed wasn’t a waste of money. Truck will be parked outside all the time. Never had a block heater before.

Wish I got a tacoma earlier this year. Only reason I'm considering getting a tacoma is. One used car price high right now. Sold my 2017 forester xt. With 50k miles on it to carmax. Basically got 95% of my 3.5 years of monthly payment back! Lol. Here royal moor toyota prices...... no thank Screenshot_20210929-195906_Gmail.jpg

This is the dealer I was telling people about a month or so ago. I had my 3rd brake light fixed by them a couple weeks ago. They had 2 Tacoma’s on the lot in the morning and 3 different ones on the lot when I picked my truck up that afternoon. They advertised a few hundred off online and I was told in person that was accurate. Not a fan of their no haggle pricing, but they are the only dealer around that are offering below msrp (on non pro models at least).

Wtf is a dealer adventure package protection??? No add ons from the dealership. In fact, they gave me a bed mat and door sills. You want a referral to my guy? We became friends through this arduous process- honest guy.
