I do not have a light bar, just thinking would be good to use in fog or low visibility?

No. In fog high white light will bounce off the fog and blind you. Fog lights are better right along the ground, and I much prefer a amber over white personally. As far as low vis situations where a Light bar will help you, I'm assuming you already have your highs on.

Its not that much of a change. My DCLB Taco is only 4" shorter in length and 4" narrower than my DC 6.5' 2014 Tundra was and both trucks have the same turning radius. The wheelbase is within 2" on the two trucks. The interior feels a foot wider in the Tundra. I drove that truck 3 days a week to downtown Pittsburgh for school, parked in parking garages, parked on the side of roads, and it had been wheeling in WV a few times. There isn't anywhere I have been that I couldn't go with that truck that my Taco will go. If it wasn't for how thirsty the 5.7 is with 300 miles of commuting a week I'd still have that truck and wouldn't have ever even considered a Taco. The turning radius on 2nd gen Tundra's is tighter than any other equivalent wheelbase half ton out there.

DC Tundra's top out at Limited trim so that is the only one you are going to see with leather. There are some rare TRD Pro DC trucks and a handful are around me. I see just as many DC 6.5' and 8' Tundra's as I see CM trucks. The difference is that the longer bed trucks rarely have stuff hanging out of the bed. Within a mile of my house there are 3 DC 8' bed SR work trucks all privately owned.

This. Amber makes the white lines on the road glow vs you being "snow blind" from your own white lights. Same with rain. And its DOT regulation if you are using aftermarket lighting on your car aux. highs have to be triggered from your high beam stick and fog lights are supposed to turn off. In PA you are only allowed 4 lamps to be lit at a time and pods have to be a minimum of 20" apart. All lights have to have the SAE compliance number on the lenses. Its a real pain to be completely legal but its worth it for the extra light.

A rear facing car seat fits in the back of a DC Tundra in all three locations and I still have enough room to be comfortable driving at 5'11". My 6'4" tall brother-in-law sat behind my 5'10" father-in-law for an equipment pickup trip 4 hours each way on the same day and didn't complain about room. Six adults would fit in my DC Tundra to run somewhere for lunch without even batting an eye. Having a kid and a dog, I would not hesitate for a second to think they didn't have enough room in the back of a DC Tundra. If they would be comfortable in the back seat of a 4Runner, they will be comfortable in a DC Tundra. Anybody that disagrees has never ridden in the back of an extended cab late 90's half-ton. I feel worse putting my 4' tall 8 year old niece in the back of my Taco DC than I did my 6'4" brother-in-law in the back of my Tundra DC.

My one friend/coworker takes his family of 5 plus a dog 2.5 hours to their camp with truck and trailer loaded a few weekends a month in a DC 8' bed Tundra. Puts the oldest kid on the booster between him and his wife and the two younger ones and the dog are in the back.

Having a 6 passenger DC Tundra for a couple years makes me look at CM trucks like a waste of space for my needs and family. Now if I had a family of 4 and a dog and was doing frequent 10-12 hour trips towing a TT then I'd probably have a different view. But sub 6 hour frequent trips and a yearly 10-12 hour trip I'd have to stick with DC.

Until the government raises gasoline prices to force you to buy an hybrid or electric vehicle. That day is coming

yes I am serious it is just a matter of time why do you see all of these auto makers developing electric cars and trucks. The gasoline days are over my friend. It is just a matter of time and states and the government is going to continue adding taxes on gasoline to convince drivers to by electric cars and trucks. Look at the infrastructure bill in congress now which includes building and installing more electric stations to power up your electric cars and trucks. All of this will take a while so gasoline will still be available for some time. The future my friend is hybrid and electric. Get use to it

Well I have no issue that the future is electric but the Govt. doesn't control gas prices. That's done by OPEC.

Yes i heard of state gas taxes. They were just lowered here in NJ. But still, the US Govt. doesn't control the cost of fuel prices.

We are not talking about the control of gasoline we are talking about federal and state taxes on gasoline which determines what you pay for gasoline

    what a stupid comment.

keep your bickering in your own threads, and go complain about gas prices to someone that asks you about it.

    k thx
