It feels good to be back at work. Its getting cold overnight. A little over a month till snowmaking starts.

 

My shed is currently occupied by 11(?) tires some of which are on wheels

 

I saw someone use a wheel as a barstool base and thought it was neat

 

You've qualified for making bumpers/sliders.

The days leading up to shit always seem to be slow asf.

 

On today's episode of "Is this cool or am I trash?", recycled automotive wheels as chairs.

 

Thanks guys, but that's just gas welding! Doubt it's strong enough at all for sliders or a bumper

Though it's much better than the bumper someone JB weld together; it was in the 2nd or 3rd Gen section...

I really can't wait to get to MIG welding, but I still have a project to do before I get there.

The project consists of making a dice.

Think after that is when I start to use a filler metal.

 

Gas welding is pretty damn good, great for thin wall stuff like exhaust but just like TIG, you can turn up the heat and the dwell and weld thicker too.

 

if you have to ask if it's cool it will never be

 

Gas welding is a great way to learn your puddle control before moving to MIG and TIG

Only hope is to made it so bad that it wraps around to coolness

Well he was never really all that funny, I think much like Carlos Mencia focus just shifted to people who were good at what they do.

I saw Dane at some small comedy venue in the city a couple years before he got big...circa 2004 I think. I don't remember it being all that good, I just remember my friends wanting to sit in the front row and me telling them that was a terrible idea.
