Technically the oem setup is already component speakers but they're too cheap.

I Technically have a hybrid setup because my bottom. Speaker is really a 5 way speaker. A true component setup will have a stand alone woofer on the bottom.

The crossover is the box you see on the left side of the door which does its job by making sure the correct frequency of sound goes to the correct speaker

Anyhow component speakers (tweeter separate from the woofer) are best because the staging of the music is better. In other words the sounds Goin good your ears is more accurate. High frequency music (tweeter) is aimed directly at your face while the low frequency music (woofer) is placed more in the background (or in this case the bottom). This includes the subwoofer which is why the subwoofer is generally placed in the back of the vehicle

Little bit of this and that
Basically this crap. HID bulbs in a reflector housing not designed for them. Don't do it as it scatters the light all over the place and blinds oncoming drivers.

(Note: stock photo pulled from google, if it's your truck...sorry don't be a dumbass next time)

With properly installed component speakers each speaker plays an exact frequency range. The less frequencies a speaker has to play the clearer it plays the frequencies it does play.

Made my rotopax deluxe mounts a little more secure. I posted earlier of the first idea but thought someone can just spin the bolts off with pliers so I counter sunk them in.

Thanks. The brand is OEDRO. They used the stock bulbs except the headlight bulbs. They came with those and you just had to wire in the daytime LED’s.

Keeping everything as close to stock for now. Replaced JBL shit woofer with a Pioneer TS-A2000LD2 dvc 2ohm.
I’m not looking to set off car alarms or even to feel excessive bass, I simply want my music to sound nice on all fronts. I am deadening all four doors as well and replacing speakers (JBL GTOs as well as tweeters (Subaru Kicker, yes it is possible with JBL Tacomas). Once I’ve done this if anyone is interested I’ll give a thorough review. Everything I’ve done and will do is plug and play. I may or may not replace or run another amp at some point, for now I’ll happily settle for being able to play my music above 20 without it sounding like a recycling truck hitting speed bumps.
    Cheers!

Doesn't spin, the bolt is screwed into the bottom portion. The remove the rotopax you have to take the bolt out. It's meant as a deterrent and is not theft proof.
