I’ll be coming in later. I have to pour a slab at my neighbors house then I can skin out and head south Saturday afternoon.

 

@msgs350 and I are thinking of leaving the north bend area around 9am.

Great camping spot up there. When I was last up in July it was surprisingly cold at night. Going into October be sure to have warm gear for the night.

I was exactly this many days old when I found out my weather app has a mosquito index. I was looking for the freezing level but couldn’t find it.

I made it to Cle Elum at 4:30 am last Saturday and I'm still recovering. I did get to hear the elk bugling though, which was cool. I wish I was a morning person.

 

I've made it to Kennewick by 9a and Wenatchee by 8a or 8.30a? 4.30a is out of my league though.


Kids ruined me. I'm a morning person by default now.

 

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I volunteered to do it. I had to get the runners I was crewing for to the trailhead for a 6am start (50 mile run from Cle Elum to Twin Falls (rattlesnake lake).
