I don't recall it in the same way, but I recall mention of the fight with your friend and the neighbor paying you both unless that's a recurring thing from your past.

Yeah that's a sad deal but unfortunately weird things happen.
I recall my senior year of HS and a assembly that IIRC, was a push to go to college or something. Anyway back to the guy was speaking, he told us the statistics how many would be gone in 5 or 10 years or some shit. It was hard to believe the number but now that I'm older I understand better I guess.
It was strictly just a statistic. But statistics are what they are.
I've only lost one close friend like that. I believe it was on Fathers Day 1991, he was going to meet his dad and sister at a restaurant in Phoenix. A guy ran a red light. Killed instantly.

My buddy died in '91 also. He was carrying a gun while riding a 4 wheeler (hunting) and somehow the gun went off and got him in the chest. I'm still not sure how that happened.

 

Went through the neighbors property after asking him . Other side of the hill from me . He already has a road going up to the top where there is a logging road between the two property’s . Check out the view . Catskills . He has 65 acres for sale with his house for $1.3 million.
This is around 500 yards up the hill behind my house looking to the west .
