Connect the pigtail to the puddle pigtail. Test the wires with multimeter with vehicle at IGN. That wire goes to RED, the other to White.

That’s a better explanation. I got hung up on the word polarity.

so it could go either way right? from my understanding if hooked up to the v2 puddles pods it will always stay bright and turn on when the vehicle is on?

Post what you get so others can duplicate correctly. I don't have puddles...:(
These would do a very good job for them thin wires:

yeah I misread your question. Another way to do it is connect it one way with bare wire and observe if bright or dim with ignition vs parking light and swap if lights-on goes bright. Lights-on should go dim.

Also did you get the extra part MESO offers for puddle people? I sort of assumed that might be plug and play? If it’s bare wire I assume red to red and white to white? Photo would help.

I think that’s the splitter for tapping DRL?

I assume there is some other piece with direct connect to the unused puddle feed? It’s be two separate pieces, one per side.

These are what I got. I ordered multiple sets, all designated that I had puddle pods, and only got this one set of extra wires.

I believe that’s two, held together by the wire branding, one for each side…

Ah, I must have misunderstood this piece. Thanks for clarifying. And no colors either. I understand the confusion better now.

I was thinking puddle adapter should be plug and play.

one for with and one for without...I don't think is be a good assembly practice...Toyota does one for all harnesses. We should too.

Hey Guys. A little bit of help if you guys can. Finally had a chance to sit down and look at the v5s. The wiring (Yellow/Green/Blue) on the turn signal is pretty self explanatory. However, I'm trying to figure out how to get the DRL hooked up. I have the P2 Puddle Pods.

So do I connect the puddle pod adapter (circled in red) to the red/white wires coming out from the turn signal wiring and then plug into the Puddle pod connection? I'm assuming the longer wires (circled in blue) are no longer needed then?

Anyone ever submit a ticket through @MESO's website? I submitted a ticket yesterday for the driver's side light, and have heard nothing. My dad did the same today and has already received a response... Wondering if there is an email that confirms the form was submitted and received?
