    If that's White Oak I'm looking at, you're gonna need that wood splitter. :rolleyes:

    I heated for many years with 6-8 cords plus a ton of hard coal every year.
    Split the wood with a maul. :crazy:

    Now I have a pellet stove.

    Nice to have a fire in the hearth insert though from time to time.
    I still cut maybe a cord each year for that, with 4 cords in reserve for emergencies.

    Just got my generator back from having the carb cleaned...
    ...(fucking corn gas) :mad:

    Let's see...
    Wood pellets...check.
    Emergency heat (firewood)...check.
    Generator (and non-ethanol gas)...check.
    Full pantry plus Spam and freeze dried stuff...check
    Ammo...check-a-re-check.

    I'm ready. :)
