    Lots of guys around here are "contractors" -- usually 2 guys, 1 old pick up truck with some magnetic signs on the doors and more confidence than experience or resources.

    I respect anyone who wants to work to get ahead in life and understand we all need to start somewhere -- that said if I was going to spend several thousand dollars I would prefer to have a more established contractor.

    That must be what is left when you cut off all the rusty parts of a Durango.

    Those things elevated rust to a professional level. Guy at my work came out for lunch to find his fender flare laying in the parking lot, everything behind it had rusted away. Within a year all 4 had fallen off.

    Going to stay busy as possible in the shop today. Just a few mounting plates for IT people to finish up then tidy up shop a little better.
    Possibly look for material to fabricate a custom door threshold. Yes that's correct a custom one off door threshold.

    Comes back to it really does not matter what field if your good your busy .

    It might take a few weeks to get your job started . Today some want everything done Now for them but if you want them to do work for you sorry we are 4 weeks out Never fails

    I had a bunch of AMC built Jeep Wagoneers back in the day, the real ones with body on frame and V8 power -- I know a lot about rust...

    The only thing that can rust "better" than a big Jeep was any light truck built by International Harvester. :rofl:
