Raceline RT 81 Wheels - any good???

    So I'm looking at these wheels but can't find much info on them. They are the Raceline RT 81 wheels. I believe they are steel wheels. Any ideas on quality or fitting issues would be great. Thanks!

    And apparently they are made by Allied Wheel Company who also makes Raceline - that's why I couldn't find them on Raceline's website. The only thing bad I noticed is that they are over 40 lbs each. Here's the site:

    Yea they are heavy duty. so unless you are going to do king of hammers or something, I'd look for other options first.

    whats the weight of a normal wheel? (a standard aluminum ~16x8). I've seen ~30 lbs or so. Would 10-15 extra lbs make a huge difference?

    Maybe 30 lbs with tire. But these are 45 alone? They are nice but you will see mpg drop.

    30 lbs with tire... I dont think so. I doubt you can find me a full size tire alone for 30 lbs

    No a tire alone will not be 30. I meant with wheel and tire. Maybe 35 or close to 40 lbs.

    Of course these are going to be heavy, look what they are built for. I say get them

    Tires alone are atleast 40 lbs. The 33" bfg km2s im getting are over 50 lbs per tire.

    ya i think my toyo's are like 60 somthin lbs per tire, i used to have steel wheels and when i felt the weight difference it was pretty huge, i'd say that my 15x10 aluminum rim weighed maybe 15 lbs

    No, I did go with some Raceline's though - just not beadlocks.

    Their beadlocks apparently are a very good wheel. I didn't buy them mainly because of their weight (I discovered all beadlocks are very heavy because theyre built to take a beating). If I was going to be using the truck for mostly offraoding, I would have bought them for sure.
