Everything LEGO thread!

Went to LEGOLAND for the first time. Def for little kids when it comes to rides. All the coasters were closed. But my daughter turned 6 and that’s what she wanted. So we had a good time. The older girls were good sports.
I do love that today wasn’t crowded and it felt much more laid back than Disneyland. But I’d hate the place if it would have been crowded.
I also was very surprised at the lack of “up keep”. Why not fix up some of the old builds. Fairytale land 100000% needs to be redone. They’ve come a long way in building characters. And since everything is glued together, some are so old the glue is flaking off now. Come on LEGOLAND. Step it up. They can also put TONS more stuff around the park and throughout some of the rides. More figures, animals, etc. It really seems like they are missing out on amping the place up big time and making it really really pop.
Kids had a good time. But if I ran that place it would be 10x what it is right now.

My lady picked this up for me yesterday. She asked me what I wanted, I said just something cool under $50. She did good.
Probably won’t get to it until next week though

Well I didn’t stay up last night to make my order. So I had backorder the Santa’s sleigh this morning. I looked and saw it was out of stock now.

 

Oldest built this Ninjago set a while back.

 

My kid likes to make his mom and I build them (lazy little shit) but honestly some of them are too hard. I had covid at the beginning of the year. Which was beneficial because grandma got him dom's charger from F&F. So, I built it. I will get pics later after work. He has various Harry Potter things, space themed things and way too many random pieces. These things are cool but damn they're expensive. I remember just having piles of blocks and having to build things out of them.

 

I’m going to start this guy later today. I just need to make a place to display it first.

It's his pride and joy. Brags about it to everyone that he talks to about Legos.

 

That’s a serious adulting problem. You run out of space to put the built LEGO sets and then need to decide if you keep the new sets unopened or take an older one down and put it in the closet. Sigh. Wish they had basements in FL to display the older built sets.
